Gallery, with opening at the bottom parts of the wall. That is to create a fell of lightness thus adding to the overall ambience of the gallery that is soothing which blends well with Marc Rembold's art works.


Shadow casted along the stairways to create a feel of movement and flow


Exhibition space of the latest art work on 3rd level. This is also function as an advertisement as it can be view from the road by the passerby.

External cladding (painted wooden strips) This represents the different culture found along king street that colaborate harmoniously.

Site


The site is located near to a few hotels and it is opposite to a school. The reason for this is due to the range of customers being targeted. That includes the tourists (hotel guest) and parents that send their children to the school opposite the Art shop.


The site is located approximately 500m from the heart of Newtown


Access from both main road and rear lane


The white colour shops will be replace by the new Art shop
